Jandy legacy not reporting Spa Heat

Post by pohoda » Sun May 05, 2019 9:46 pm

More info:
I am able to control the on/off Spa Heat function reliably through Autelis. Just not get the status reliably. Also I wanted to add that once the heat has reached 104 (the current set temp in programming in Jandy Aqualink RS16) the Spa Heat status works. There must be something in the way that the Autelis is expecting to get the status and how my revision of Jandy Aqualink sends those status updates on the serial bus.

Original Post:
I have had on and off issues with Spa Heat reporting accurately in Autelis. Now I am trying to use this status to trigger some events in Homeseer and I need it to work reliably. I am troubleshooting the issue by going to this URL http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/status.xml?. It will always report <spaht>0</spaht>. The only time it finally displays the Spa Heat mode is once the temperature has been satisfied (as you can see below the setpoint of 104 was reached) so now it is reporting the <spaht>1</spaht> status.

I have tried using the app page, web page, and keypad. None of them report the Spa Heat mode except after the temperature setting has been reached. I am running the last firmware update I received from Autelis support 1.6.2 which is newer than what is on the Wiki or anywhere else I coudl look on the forum or wiki (1.4.9 is the latest for legacy firmware).

Output of http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/status.xml?

Not seeing any recent posts here by Autelis. Are they still supporting these devices?

Anyone seen Autelis active on the forums? Looks like the product support is dead. Hoping there is another solution out there that can replace them in this case. I have a couple installs coming up and need controllers that work with Homeseer.
